OnThursday, 21st April, in TMS CEE was held a seminarentitled “Risk management in companies – standards and good practice”.The seminar was organized in cooperation of TMS CEE and AHK (german-serbianchamber of commerce)
Theseminar was intended for senior and middle management, entrepreneurs, owners of the companies, investors, consultants and advisers and experts inbusiness risks and corporate security and resistance.
Participantsof seminar had the opportunity to acquire the latest knowledge in the field ofrisk management and to inform with the relevant standards which are connectedwith management of risk. Also, they considered business risks in aholistic way and got familiar with the principles, methods and techniquesof risk management in relation with good corporate security and resistance.After that, they were able to independently recognize the risks from the aspectof its business in accordance with the best global practice.
Introductionto today’s lecture was presented by PhD Mladen Milošević, Director of theInnovation Centre of the Faculty of Security, who introduced participants withthe management of security risks in new conditions. Through interestingexamples from practice, the lecturer conducted participants through possiblebusiness risks, but also the processes which determine the causes, scale andscope of risks, as well as, ways in which to access their treatment or control.
BoškoGavović, CEO, TMS CEE, led the participants through, from the begining of theterm, through the first forms, until today. He presented the framework in whichthe RM is today, with practical examples, describing the importance ofcorporate security and risk management. Gavović pointed out that“corporate security is a key tool for companies”.
