Controlling wooden railway sleepers

Railway sleepers are an important part of railway infrastructure. Meeting the requirements of the standard is a vital condition for the safe and economical development of railway traffic. Assessing the compliance of railway sleepers with the requirements of the standard is a job performed by independent, objective and professional conformity assessment bodies.

TMS CEE doo has ATS accreditation as a type A conformity assessment body, accreditation number 06-047, according to the SRPS ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard for controlling railway thresholds.

The control procedure we implement includes:

• Controlling the quality of the white thresholds (determining the dryness of the thresholds before acceptance),

The procedure for controlling and evaluating the compliance of thresholds with the requirements is carried out in accordance with the Rulebook on technical conditions and maintenance of the upper machinery of railway tracks, standards: SRPS EN 13145:2013, DIN 68811 and other relevant standards and regulations.

a Report or Certificate on the control of railway thresholds is created
an assessment of the compliance of the thresholds with the defined requirements is given.
