Transportable Pressure Equipment (TPED)
Mobile pressure equipment (POPP) is placed on the market and put into use if it meets the technical requirements prescribed by special laws and regulations in:

In the Republic of Serbia, the requirements for the transport of dangerous goods, including POPP, are prescribed in the Law on the Transport of Dangerous Goods („Sl. glasnik RS”, br. 104/2016, 83/2018, 95/2018 – dr. law i 10/2019 – dr. law), and a special regulation is the Regulation on Mobile Pressure Equipment („Sl. glasnik RS“ br. 120/2017);

The European Union (EU) requirements for the transport of dangerous goods including POPP are prescribed in the Directive 2008/68/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of September 24, 2008 on the inland transport of dangerous goods (Directive of Inland Transport of Dangerous Goods), and a special regulation is Directive 2010/35/EU of the European Parliament and the Council of June 16, 2010 for mobile pressure equipment (TPED 2010/35/EU)
The mentioned regulations in the Republic of Serbia and the EU refer to confirmed international agreements known as ADR and RID for prescribing technical requirements regarding placing on the market and in use as well as during use for POPP:

ADR – European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) of September 30, 1957 with subsequent amendments;

RID – Convention on International Carriage by Rail (COTIF) of May 9, 1980, Appendix C – Regulations on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID) as subsequently amended.
Revisions of ADR and RID agreements are published every two years.
The confirmed international agreements ADR and RID apply to the transport of dangerous goods in international transport, in the part that is carried out on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, as well as to the transport of dangerous goods that is carried out as a whole on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
POPP includes:

all pressure vessels, their valves and other necessary equipment included in chapter 6.2 of ADR/RID;
-
tanks, battery vehicles/cars, multi-element gas containers (MEGC), their valves and other necessary accessories in accordance with chapter 6.8 of ADR/RID.
According to the prescribed framework, there are POPP conformity assessment / control activities according to the table.

TMS CEE doo in cooperation with the partner notified body from the EU (notified body – NoBo) for POPP conformity assessment for POPP manufacturers provides:
-
type approval and placement of the EU mark of conformity (π) with identification mark NoBo on the product in accordance with TPED 2010/35/EU (and ADR/RID). Furthermore, it is possible to carry out the procedure of recognition of a foreign document – type approval certificate for placing an approved type of POPP on the market of the Republic of Serbia;

production control and first control for new POPP in accordance with TPED 2010/35/EU (and ADR/RID);
-
periodic control, supervision of the control service, intermediate control and extraordinary control in accordance with TPED 2010/35/EU (and ADR/RID);
-
reassessment of conformity according to TPED 2010/35/EU.
TMS CEE doo develops its own services in the field of periodic control, supervision of the control service, intermediate control and emergency control of POPP in accordance with the Regulation on Mobile Pressure Equipment (“Official Gazette of RS” No. 120/2017) and ADR/RID.
