SAM: Working breakfast - TMS: Lean Six Sigma as a working capital management tool
On Tuesday, November 22, a working breakfast was held in the crowded conference hall of the Serbian Association of Managers, where Mr. Željko Rakić, certified Master Black Belt and owner of The Lean Six Sigma Company (Canada) with 25 years of experience, shared his experiences in the field of Lean Six Sigma with the members of the Association. work experience gained around the world. The breakfast was opened by Mr. Boško Gavović, director of TMS CEE, welcoming the attendees, after which he announced the exclusive guest lecturer. During the lecture, it was explained in detail what Lean Six Sigma actually is, what are its specificities and advantages in relation to other management concepts, and at the same time it was presented what the essence of the Lean Six Sigma concept is. On that occasion, Mr. Rakić explained what he considers additional value for the client, as well as that everything that does not add value is considered a “cost”. There are seven types of such costs, among which are transportation, inventory, excessive movement of employees, etc. The working breakfast took place in a positive and dynamic atmosphere, even though he was staying in Serbia for a short time, Mr. Rakić gladly took the time to share his knowledge and experience in the field of LeanSix Sigma with the members of the Serbian Association of Managers.
