1903 - STEAM ENGINE AND ELECTRIC ENERGY
The steam engine marked the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, but now more and more machines are powered by electricity.
In fact, Bavaria has had “Revisions-Vereinfür elektrische Anlagen” – Association for Inspection of Electrical Installations” since 1900. Many members were also members of the “Dampfkessel – Revisions-Verein” – “Steam Boiler Inspection Association” who used both technologies in their companies.
It was logical for the two Associations to merge and to form the “Bayerischer Revisionsverein” – “Bavarian Inspection Association” in 1903. In the same year, the Bavarian Control Association established the electricity sector.
