1930 – MOBILE OBJECTS

1930 - MOBILE OBJECTS

At the end of the 1920s, the Oktoberfest in Munich became the main attraction. Carnival rides have existed for more than a century, but they are yet to be systematically controlled.

Since the design of these machines was increasingly bold and dangerous, the Bavarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Interior Affairs, Agriculture and Labor issued a decree in the summer of 1929: The Technical Inspection of Bavaria regularly inspects mobile facilities in southern Bavaria.

In 1930, three engineers of the association were assigned to the Oktoberfest to inspect the weak points of three roller coasters, three roller coasters and one highway. Working at the largest trade fair in the world, Munich engineers developed a unique, leading expertise in the field of mobile objects, which is still in demand worldwide to this day.
