In 1979, the “TÜV” companies in Baden, Bayern, Saarland and Stuttgart decided to establish the TÜV Academy, which would enable training in the south of Germany.

The center officially “opened” its doors on January 1, 1980. It was soon noticed that standardized trainings and continuous education had many advantages.

The participants of the seminars benefited from certain experiences and the groups jointly helped to eliminate regional prejudices.
