TMS at the Welding 2024

The conference is held every two years and is an opportunity for scientists, engineers, technicians, welders, suppliers, and other users to meet and share their experience, ideas, information and to expand their knowledge. Every consultation and work of the society is followed by the Journal of Welding and Welded Structures, which in 2022 was categorized as M52 (Top Journal of National Importance), through which the presented works are made available to a larger number of users.

Representatives of TMS CEE d.o.o., Ivan Stojčić and Marko Maričić, contributed by work and the presentation on the qualification of titanium welding technology, as well as the metallurgical, technological, physical and mechanical properties of the obtained titanium welded joints. The paper presents the problems and challenges encountered and which may occur during titanium welding and ways to ensure the quality of the welded joint, as well as the results of testing relevant samples in accordance with the SRPS EN ISO 15614-5 standard [10].
