1881 – FIRST STANDARDS

By the end of 1881, there were numerous steam boiler control associations throughout Germany. However, each expert could essentially decide on his own definition of proper functioning.

1877 – SUCCESS SPEAKS FOR ITSELF

Walter Gyssling, glavni inženjer Udruženja zakontrolisanje parnih kotlova, bio je veoma zadovoljan kada je predstavio svoj izveštaj o rezultatima iz 1877. članovima Udruženja. U poslednjih 5 godina, nijedan od 1000 kontrolisanih parnih kotlova od strane asocijacije nije eksplodirao.

Walther Gyssling, the chief engineer of the BDRV, was pleased when he presented his report about fiscal year 1877 to the members. In the last five years, none of the more than 1,000 boilers inspected by the association had exploded.

1870 – ASSOCIATION FOR CONTROL IN BAVARIA

At the beginning of December 1869, the copper manufacturer Abraham Lissmann stepped to the podium at the “Polytechnischer Verein” – “Association of Polytechnicians” in Munich. Lissmann chose his stage well, as the audience included some of Bavaria’s most respected scientists and technicians.
